RentLedger is a books tool for US landlords. You type properties, tenants, rent, and expenses. The app shows who is due from those books and lets you download files, including a Schedule E Part I worksheet.

What this is not

We do not file your taxes. We do not calculate depreciation. We do not connect to your bank. We do not collect rent yet. A download is a workpaper for you or your CPA — not a filed Form 1040.

Accounts

You need an email and a password to save books. Password reset email is not in the app yet. Use the password you set at signup. There is no credit card required to try the books. An optional $7.99 subscription after a 14-day trial is offered on the subscribe page. The app is usable without paying.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the numbers you enter and for what you hand to a tax preparer. Keep the password you chose. Read Privacy for what we store.
